Funchal, Madeira 11th April 03
Arrived at dawn in Funchal, Madeira.
Went on guided walk of the llevadas for about 3 hours. The wild flowers were superb. Never seen church lilies and freesias growing wild in such profusion.
Then a stroll through Funchal and its amazing market.
