4th May 07 - Robin Lane

Another fabulous day. Got taxi to Windermere. Climbed Orrest Head. Then walked to Troutbeck and onto Robin Lane, through Skelghyll Woods to Waterhead and back on the boat.

I've taken that picture in every weather condition. I just love that curvy path!

And, just to prove it, the same view in the snow in Dec 2000 - our first Christmas in the Lakes.

So much so that, as many of you know, I have decided that when my time comes, I want my ashes to the scattered at this exact point - PILLAR on the map. So I can look at that view for ever!
