6+ miler/4 hour from Grasmere along Easedale Road and then up (and up) to Helm Crag (1200ft). Then a couple of miles of very rough ridge walking past Gibson Knott and Moment Crag before descending into the Green Burn valley with its dam and waterfall.

Sun shone (mostly) on a fabulous walk.
