27th February 05
Looked like it was going to be a crisp, sunny day. So we set off on our favourite walk - taking a taxi to Windermere to climb Orrest Head, then to Troutbeck and along Robin Lane to Skelghyll Woods and down to Waterhead where we caught the boat back to Bowness. About 6-7 miles.
