25th Dec 05 - Loughrigg
CHRISTMAS DAY!
Another fantastic day. This time the Lakes were clothed in low mist with blue
skies above. The views were amazing. I took far too many photos and feel
a 2006 Christmas card in the making.
We started in Ambleside and climbed Loughrigg Fell, across to the Tarn and then
the walk along the Terrace looking down on Grasmere and Rydal. About 7.5 miles.
