18th Feb. 04 - Walla Crag and Derwent Water
It was the most marvelous day. Brilliant sunshine. Not a cloud in the sky
and just above freezing. Just how we like it!
Started at Keswick and walked through Castlehead Woods and up to Castlerigg.
Then along the glorious Walla Crag with the most amazing views over Derwent
Water...and beyond. Then the steepest of paths down to Derwent Water for
an amble along the shore. About 6 miles/1000ft.
