18th Aug 04 - Levens Hall and Sizergh Castle
with Carol , Bill, Charlotte, Pete and Emily
The classic 5-miler between Sizergh Castle and Levens Hall and back with
Carol and Bill. Then we met up with Charlotte, Pete and Emily who are camping in
the Langdales. Weather OK but it poured at lunchtime (hence the umbrellas!). But
the thunder and lightning at the end of the afternoon was horrendous. Poor old
Charlotte and Pete in a tent!
