18th April 03 - Beacon Tarn
Warm weather and a bit of a heat haze.
Also Good Friday, so the roads jammed.
Started walk nearly at the southern end of Coniston. Climbed up Slatestone Fell
to Beacon Tarn then along the ridge of Blawith Fells and Tottle Bank - looking
across Torver Common on one side and the length of Coniston on the other.
About 5.5miles.
