16th July 03 - Coniston, Park a Mor and ridge walk to Brantwood
We heard the news that Ben Devlin arrived in the world on the Coniston launch in the middle of Coniston!
Started a 6-miler from Park a Mor and then a stiff climb to the ridge walk starting at the somewhat mis-named 1000ft Low Parkamoor. The views were stunning. About the best you can get. Then a welcome walk through the shady forest of Heald Brow Pastures and down to Brantwood for the ferry back to Coniston.

Views from ridge walks do not get better than that!
