15th Oct 04 - Holme Fell
Truly magnificent walk on a fantastic sunny, cool day - just made for
walking.
Started at High Tilberthwaite and climbed to the top of Holme Fell marked by Ivy
Crag. Then alongside the many tarns to the deep sided old quarry at Hodge Close.
Lunch at Slaters Bridge before returning over the Knotts. About 7 miles.
