12th Sept 04 - Helm Crag
About a 9-10 milers. Too long!
Started at Grasmere and climbed helm crag. the walked the ridge past Gibson
Knott all the way to Pike of Carrs and Calf Crag (1800ft) before descending and
walking back along the Far Easedale Gill.
It stated OK but then rained and rained. When we returned we were soaked
through. Never had wet socks before!
