16th Feb 07 - Heenfaru Island, Maldives

Had the most fantastic day on a deserted island in the Maldives. Best day of the holiday by far! 

We went by tender then transferred to inflatables for the last bit over the coral reef

White sands, crystal clear seas teeming with brightly coloured fish...straw huts for shade

Does it get any better?.

You can see the Hebridean Spirit moored far out at sea.

Could it get any better? Yes! A seaplane arrived to take us on a trip to see the Maldives from the air.

Could it get any better? Yes! Yes! Lobster for lunch!

Undoubtedly the best day of the holiday. 10 out of 10. Impossible to better it!
