Departed Scenic Aura. Staying one night in the Mandalay Hill resort (V pleasant!)
Off on various trips to see Pagodas and Monasteries. Had to remove shoes & socks three times today!

Kuthodaw Pegoda is the site for many wedding photographs

Many Burmese wanted to have their photo taken with Elizabeth. We think because of her blue eyes which are unknown in Myanmar.

The Mahamuni Buddha. People come to put gold leaf on the Buddha. Amazingly, over the last 100 years the gold leaf has built up to 7cm thick!
