30th March 19 - Yandabo

Early morning visit to the 'Pottery Capital of Myanmar' - Yandabo.
Then we had a Burmese Dinner and had to come in local dress.

The pots are then put into a heap and fired. Sometimes up to 3000 at a time.

After the firing and the pots have cooled...

...they are carried off to the riverside for 'export' down the river

Each day, upon the return to Scenic Aura from our tour, we handed our dusty shoes in for cleaning.

This evening we had a Burmese Dinner and had to dress accordingly...
