Two new walks from the Beach House, Poole on 22nd & 24th Aug 17
| First 'new' walk was the 'Tramway Tramp' - starting south of Wareham . About 5 miles and flat - as it followed the old tramway used to transport clay to Poole harbour. |
| Started off across the heathland - purple with heather |
| Many horses - called heath croppers - and deer. Here munching the heather |
| Wonderful views to Corfe Castle. |
| Second walk was another 'new' 5-miler from Corfe Castle to Little Woolgarston, up to Brenscombe Hill and back along the ridge. Probably the best views you can get - particularly with the steam train puffing along below! |
