18th Apr 17 - Garden Today
Just returned from two weeks in Cambodia & Vietnam. Weather has been fine throughout so everything has come out. Indeed some of the daffodils over and many of the tulips are already starting to fade. But the rhododendrons and azaleas are starting to look superb.
Glorious sunny day |
Viburnums (assuming that is the plural of viburnum!) are looking fantastic. Just as I like them in tight little buds. |
Just a few of the bluebells |
The tulips and forget-me-nots around the (stump of the) 'Grandson Tree' in the front garden are in their prime - indeed are starting to fade in the bright sunshine |
My fav bed right now! A riot of colour. |
Love it |
Even the sheep love it! |
Pansies |
Path |
By the pond |
The banks of rhododendrons and azaleas look magnificent! |
New rhododendron by gate |
Steps all tumbling! |
Some of the many tulips in the pots |
Border around the main lawn |
Raised vegetable garden starting to do well. Broad beans and peas up. Just put runner beans in. Lettuces almost ready to harvest. |
