30th Dec 16 - Colon, Panama

Arrived in Colon, Panama. We have been through the Panama Canal before. This time we viewed the Gatun Locks then took a Dome Train to the Pacific side and did a tour of Panama City. Really good!

Gatun Locks

We watched the ships being towed through the dock by the mules with inches to spare on either side. If you like 'Boys Toys' you are in heaven. Not only that, but a worker was retiring so they all blew their horns/sirens. A cacophony of noise. Wonderful!

Boarded the Panama Canal Railway in a Dome Car to transit to the Pacific.
