25th Sept 13 - Marseille for Avignon

Docked in Marseille and took trip to Avignon and Les Baux in Provence.

Provence

Sous le pont d'Avignon, on y dance on y dance

Pope's Palace Avignon

Built on a rock so some of the streets are more like gorges. Great flying buttress.

Crepes for lunch

Les Baux in Provence is a hill town built out of rock.

But, inside the town, it was VERY busy. Basically a shopping mall!

Lovely views across Provence though.

And then to Barcelona and home.
