8th July 12 - Chapman's Pool
After all the awful weather, Sunday brought some respite. Sunny but very damp underfoot. Started by Chapman's Pool along the SW Coastal Path to Worth Matravers. About 5 miles.

Absolutely wonderful views over Chapman's Pool as we start
St Adselm's chapel (over 1000 year old. King John is reputed to have visited) and the old coastguards cottages
Monument to the 2nd World War Radar Scientific Station. Bombed by the Germans
Stile not style!
Winspit quarry
Stopped off for fish 'n chips at the NT restaurant on Knoll Beach. Yes, there were proper holiday makers on the beach.
