11th May 12 - Livorno for Lucca

Blisteringly hot day. In cargo port of Livorno in Tuscany. Took coach to Lucca. 

Lucca was the home of Puccini

Perhaps the inspiration behind the name for this ice cream shop

Also the home to Pinocchio. (Or, as he wasn't real, his 'inventor'!)

Just too many old churches. Over 90 at one time. This one is San Michele.

And this one is San Martino
