The monuments to the sailors from Murmansk that have lost their lives. The bottom one is the sail or conning tower of the Kurst submarine which sank nearby  quite recently with the loss of all lives.

Monument to the Defenders of the Kola Land. 40 metre high statue set on the hill overlooking the town.
