6th Aug 11 - Honningsvag/North Cape - Norway

Unfortunately we have left the sun behind. From Honningsvag we went to the North Cape - the most northerly in Europe.

Let's start and end with a troll
Lots of reindeer along the way. They are brought from the mainland each summer to graze. The Sami wear those hats that all men on stag nights wear...
At North Cape we all got a glass of asti and some caviar. The view was...misty!
Would have been even better in the sun.
Until the road was built the cruise ships would moor and tender guests ashore for quite a climb up the cliffs. I rather liked this display of the ladies in their finery.
