3rd Jan 11 - Last day

Day at sea as we sailed to Valparaiso. Highlight was a boat building competition where Alec came second.

Alec's boat had an ingenious propulsion system

It was up against some tough competition particularly as the sea was rough and the pool was sloshing around

But he came second!

So we all claimed the credit!

Tuesday morning we arrived in a very sunny Valparaiso. 90 min journey to Santiago airport and a long flight via Madrid to Heathrow. But everything was on schedule and our luggage arrived too. GREAT TRIP!
