2nd-3rd Oct 10 - Singapore

Arrived in Singapore after a 13hr flight. I still find them exhausting! Lou, Neil and Euan joined us after their 5 hr flight from Perth. Staying in an apartment in the Shangri-La.

Lovely 3 bedroom serviced apartment in the Shangri-La Hotel

The apartments have their own pool - which was really quiet. Had it all to ourselves!

On Sunday, we went on the MRT and then the cable car to Sentosa.

UnderWaterWorld. Much like all the others around the world with walk through aquarium.

Main attraction was 'Swimming with the Dolphins'. Euan had particularly requested this and we had booked months in advance. After our briefing session, the first activity was dolphin painting!

Then it was into the pool to meet the dolphins up close. These are endangered pink dolphins. ALL have been bred in captivity and they were all clearly well looked after. I don't like seeing creatures like this in captivity but it was a wonderful experience! Euan was SO excited!

Riding on the dolphin was a memorable experience. Euan thought it was really great!
