Garden - 25th July 10

After all the hot weather we have had a little rain. Not enough - but it was welcome (by the plants at least) none the less.

Runner beans and courgettes
Geraniums by the kitchen door
The patio pots are nearing their best
The red Crocosmia 'Lucifer' are the stars at the moment
A new addition to the herbaceous beds this year are the Monardas. I think these are Monarda 'Scorpion'
The terraced path as it enters its purple stage
One of the many waterlillies on the pond. I rather like the reflection.
The new copse we planted ten years back is now one of loveliest, shadiest parts of the garden.
