28th April 10 - Bowness

Arrived after a remarkably traffic free journey. Unknown for the M6. Went on walk around Cockshot Point.

On Cockshot Point. I took this picture because you can see the high water mark on the left of the picture left by the floods. It must be 15ft above the current level of the Lake. Indeed, we went to the Marina and all the lovely houses where we used to stay are being repaired as they were all flooded. Awful
