17th Jan 09 - New route to Latterbarrow

We've done the Hawkshead to Latterbarrow walk many times. Today was a variation - taking in Claife Heights and a walk along the shoreline of Windermere.

About seven miles. Weather was excellent. But storm forecast for tonight.

Normally I try to avoid getting my shadow into the photograph. But I really liked this one as it shows how strong the sun was.

We rewarded ourselves with Fish and Chips (sausage and chips in Philip's case) in the Kings Arms in Hawkshead.
