17th Oct 08 - Guilin and the Li River

After another night (this time at the Guilin Sheraton) we visited the Elephant Hill Park, We boarded the boat for a 5 hour trip down the River Li.

The Li River is surrounded by limestone hills. It is really beautiful

The river hawkers took great risks to sell their wares. Indeed, when one appears out of nowhere it gave Gill quite a shock

A short flight from Guilin to Hong Kong and back to the Mariner for a late supper. Again the view of Hong Kong at night from the ship was amazing. We departed for London the following day and arrived safely (incl. luggage!) late Saturday evening
