Another misty day. Unfortunately this time threatening ran.
We tried again to find the path over Birk Fell. This time from the other side. We failed again to find it. Anyway, we had a good walk. Perhaps one day we will find the path! Although, as I checked carefully on my SatMap, I have a suspicion that it doesn't exist anymore!

A classic view of the Langdales. But you can see how mirky it was.

This is meant to be the path up Birk Fell from Greenburn. As you can see...no path. Even though it is marked on the OS map. As the top was covered in mist, I didn't think it worth the risk.
