24th April 05 - Eriskay, South and North Uist

A splendid day. Beautifully sunny. Started with tender to shore in Eriskay. Then a drive of about 20 miles along the causeways to South Uist for a walk along the white sand beach where we saw a lovely Altantic grey seal. Then a "picnic". Well, a picnic with white table cloths and silver service!
In the afternoon we climbed up to the trig point in the middle of North Uist for a wonderful panoramic view. We saw a Golden Eagle, harriers and wild deer.

On the tender at Eriskay.
