23rd March 03 - Ludderburn Park

The sun shone again. Indeed, it was almost too hot!
A six-miler. We started in lay by about a mile up the road from Gummer How. Through woodland to Ludderburn Park and on to Moor How overlooking Lake Windermere. Then through The Oaks to Great Hartbarrow with spectacular views over the Winster Valley.
Then lunch at the renowned Punch Bowl Inn at Crosthwaite.
Home tomorrow. What a shame!
