19th February 03

7 miler starting from the footpath at the NT car park at Skelwith Bridge, up and around Loughrigg Tarn, climb up to Loughrigg Fell (c1300ft) then along the ridge, down through the gardens of the YHA at High Close to Elterwater and back along the Cumbria way.

VERY cold day - especially in the wind (Weatherline said chill factor of -10!) But wonderfully sunny. Truly cathartic!
