11th May 03 - Catbells and Derwent Water
Caught motor launch from Keswick to Hawse End
and then climbed the 1700ft Catbells with its ridge walk and fabulous views of
Skiddaw and Bassenthwaite.
Then down to cross the duckboards on the Allerdale Ramble before getting the
launch again at Lodore for the return to Keswick.
About 6 miles - and excellent!
