3rd August - Qaqortoq

Qaqortoq is a small settlement on the west coast of Greenland in a sheltered harbour which allows access most of the year.
We went on a 4+mile hike along the "Great Lake" which acts as the water supply for the town.

The now "typical of Greenland" painted houses
Fish market. Not quite sure what this was. Seal? Whale?
Qaqortoq has many works of art carved into its rocks
The dockyard contained many boats in need of care and attention
On the 4+mile walk around the Great Lake. More for exercise than scenery!
