5th Apr 19 - Pindaya Caves and Cookery Course

Wonderful day. Started by visiting Pindaya Caves with its 8000+ Buddhas.
Then a Cookery Course + Lunch at Thit Ael Pin Village.

Pindaya Cave Entrance
The Spider at the entrance to Pindaya Caves was a major photo opportunity!
You could have climbed the hundreds of steps...or take the elevator like us!
Yet again, everyone seemed to want to take Elizabeth's photo!
Pindaya Caves are really AMAZING. The tunnels and caverns just go on and on. Really incredible!
Cookery Course at The Village in Thit Ael Pin Village
Really well organised.
Vegetable Tempura was the first course we cooked. I'll now be searching for tempura flour in Waitrose!
An open coach of singing Buddhist Monks.
Elizabeth bought a traditional Burmese hat (c£2) for the Farewell Dinner.
