What a wonderful surprise Split was to be. Thoroughly recommended.

The Golden Gate
Diocletian's Palace - As originally built by this Roman Emperor between 295 and 305 AD 
Peristyle Square
Cathedral of St Domnius. Was Diocletian's Mausoleum but now a Cathedral.
The Bell Tower
We climbed to the top of the Bell Tower for these fabulous views
The Basement Halls (Podrum) under the palace. Were filled with waste & sewage until recently. Now fully restored.
