Portugal with the 'Little Ones' -  27th May - 4th June 16 PART1

Flew to Faro. Hired a lovely villa with pool at the Vidamar Resort Nr Albufeira, Portugal

28th/29th May - In the pool and a walk

Boardwalk from the hotel to the beach.

We went for a fabulous walk along the beach and the cliff path from the villa. It was superb with little coves, rocks and caves. But it was the wildflowers that really impressed.

30th May Drive to Portimao

On Monday we drove to Alcantarilha to see the gruesome bone chapel made from 1500 bones from the cemetery

Then to the fishing port of Ferragudo

And on to Portimao for their legendry sardines. What else to drink in Portugal with sardines than Mateus Rose?
