Visit to Australia - 20th - 30th Sept 15 - Cable Beach - Hovercraft - Part 4

We went on a hovercraft trip across the mudflats to see the dinosaur footprints

The jetty at Broome. Now huge cruise ships descend on this tiny town of just 16,000 inhabitants
In the waiting area
Off on the 'Spirit of Broome'
Apparently the most well preserved dinosaur footprints in the world. You can see the toe etc.
The mudflats were teaming with birds.
Great rock formations.
Nice shells too!
Last night dinner in the aptly named 'Sunset Bar and Grill'
Neil enjoying a rather large ribeye steak!
Euan had got rather fed up of having his photo taken by this point. And guess what Euan had for dinner?
After returning to Perth on Tuesday we met up with Lou's friend Corretta and her family at Hillarys for a Fish & Chip lunch.
Then at 10.10pm on Wednesday we started the long haul home to Blighty arriving some 24 hours later. Miss them already!
