Yet another fabulously sunny day. Gdansk was a real surprise.

We started at the 'Road to Freedom' museum which commemorated the 1980-81 formation of Solidarity which caused a domino effect amongst many of the Soviet states towards democracy. This statue is in Solidarity Sq in front of the shipyard where it all started- lead by Lech Walesa.
