2nd Jan 12 - Garden Today

It's been one of the mildest winters for many a year. Indeed today is bright and sunny. I swear that all the spring flowers are many weeks ahead of where they are meant to be at the beginning of Jan.

The red stalks of the cornus add great colour to the garden at this time of year. But the view, through the now 'leaf-less' trees, across the River Wey is the real star feature at the moment.
The white allium is out much earlier than normal.
