14th Nov 10 - Lingmoor

Another lovely day. Cold but sunny. Started at Elterwater and climbed Lingmoor Fell before descending into the Langdale valley for a cup of tea at the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel.

About 7.5 miles and c1300ft. Need careful navigation on the fell to find the right (and safest) way down.

A group of hikers admire the view to Windermere

Close to the summit with the most wondrous views
Something rather majestic about this view!

Returning on the Cumbria Way after a great walk on a great day.
