17th Oct 08 - Guilin and the Li River

After another night (this time at the Guilin Sheraton) we visited the Elephant Hill Park, We boarded the boat for a 5 hour trip down the River Li.

The Li River is surrounded by limestone hills. It is really beautiful

Indeed, when one appears out of nowhere it gave Gill quite a shock
A short flight from Guilin to Hong Kong and back to the Mariner for a late supper. Again the view of Hong Kong at night from the ship was amazing.

We departed for London the following day and arrived safely (incl. luggage!) late Saturday evening
