20th July 08

The wet weather has continued.  Which means that the garden is looking better than in most previous years when we have 'suffered' a really hot spell or drought by now.

I love the way the brilliant red crocosmia sticks through the blanket of plants on the main slope
The sheep seem to be happy with the weather too!
Sheep to left of greenhouse. This is the 'office' annexe
The runner beans/green beans/peas have done very well. Most dinners are 'home-grown' right now.
We bought these copper flowers at the Hampton Court Flower Show
The pots on the patio are a riot of colour
The pond is quite magical right now
...as is the bog garden
The roses on the belvedere have never been better. Might have something to do with the deer not getting at them this year for the first time!
