Kentmere

Yet another wonderful day. We haven't done the Kentmere walk since 1998 - mainly because we could never find a parking space at Kentmere church where the walk starts. Today we lucky.
It's a marvelous 6 mile walk - mostly on the level. The views of the reservoir are fantastic.

Soon the sun was out and it was almost too hot!

Last time we were here they hadn't built the bridge so we had to cross at the spill from the reservoir. Which added a bit of excitement.

It was so still that the surface was like a mirror

I think this is an amazing picture

We sat and had our coffee here. The most idyllic spot.
