Silver Crag

The 4 mile walk from Patterdale - along the high path looking down on Ullswater to Silver Crag and Silver Bay and back by the low path - is said to be "one of the most dramatically beautiful walks in the Lake District". It's difficult to disagree - especially on such a superb sunny day as today.

This is a rare "WOW" photo!
